HealthFitness has an outstanding opportunity for a .Net Developer in our Plano, Texas location.
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for working closely with both internal and external customers by providing continued support in developing new and existing online systems. This position will require the individual to be a self starter and able to work independently.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES (Duties and Responsibilities)
- Designs and recommends technical solutions
- Assists in thought leadership around the application of emerging technologies
- Develops new online systems and supports existing software within the .NET environment
- Assists with complex programming assignments within the development team
- Codes programs, prepares test data, and tests and debugs programs
- Implements time-sensitive updates to websites based on client requests
- Participates in constructive code reviews
- Contributes to departmental development and process standards
- Mentors other developers with best practice methods

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
The following minimum qualifications are required in order for an individual to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this job:
Education, Experience and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Programming or commensurate experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in .NET within a software support or development environment
- Experience with VB.NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL 2005 and XML
- Experience with CSLA framework and Model-View-Controller architecture a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Visual FoxPro a plus
- Detail oriented with ability to work independently and in team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Good personal work ethic and organization skills
- MS Certification (a plus)
